…for the entire staff at Northwick Manor Primary School, in Worcester

The whole of the Northwick Manor Primary teaching staff in Worcester have boosted their confidence in delivering tennis for their pupils. Over 30 teachers enjoyed an LTA Youth Schools Primary Tennis Teachers course on Wednesday 3 May.

The entire Northwick Manor staff are keen to start delivering the content and using the fabulous resource packs and online videos. This programme is free for all schools and has been designed by teachers for teachers. The flexible and inclusive resources support teachers and schools to teach tennis as part of the curriculum and to assist with wider school outcomes. 

The Northwick Manor team were delighted to hear that the LTA provide the school with a £250 voucher to spend on equipment or to link with a local LTA Accredited Coach from Worcester Tennis Club.

The Northwick Manor Primary school is part of the Rivers Academy Multi Academy Trust and the plan is to include more Worcester schools in the training programme, which will play a big part in opening tennis up across Worcester.
